Water After Tsunami Project - Completed December 2007

This project provided clean water supplies to 7 communities (Phang Nga Province) impacted by the 2005 Tsunami through the drilling of bores, tank and stand construction, pipeline distribution, pump and filter installation. Participatory hygiene and sanitation training programs adapted to the local context were also run to improve the hygiene & sanitation knowledge among at least 3,325 tsunami-affected people in Phang Nga province and neighbouring areas.
